1. Introduction
Welcome to Ashu Yoga. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms", "Agreement") constitute a legally binding agreement between Ashu Yoga ("Ashu Yoga", "we", "our", "us") and every individual who accesses this website, books a consultation, purchases a program, attends a class, or otherwise uses any of our services ("Client", "Participant", "You", "Your").
These Terms govern your use of www.ashuyoga.com, Personalized Online Yoga Classes, Yoga Therapy Sessions, Online Consultations, Health Assessments, Lifestyle Guidance, Breathing Practices (Pranayama), Meditation Sessions, Relaxation Techniques, Educational Articles, Blogs, Downloadable Materials, Audio Recordings, Video Recordings, Digital Products, and future online courses, memberships, workshops, retreats, and other services offered by Ashu Yoga.
By accessing our website or using any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any provision of these Terms, you must discontinue use of our website and services immediately.
2. Definitions
2.1 Ashu Yoga
"Ashu Yoga", "Company", "We", "Our", or "Us" refers to the owner and operator of Ashu Yoga, including its instructors, representatives, employees, contractors, affiliates, successors, and authorized personnel.
2.2 Client
A Client is any individual who visits our website; submits an enquiry; books a consultation; purchases any service; participates in yoga sessions; downloads educational material; or communicates with us regarding our services.
2.3 Website
Website refers to www.ashuyoga.com, including all associated pages, blogs, downloadable resources, forms, booking systems, and digital content.
2.4 Services
Services include, but are not limited to: Personalized Yoga Programs, Online Yoga Classes, Yoga Therapy Sessions, Corporate Yoga, Meditation Instruction, Pranayama Training, Relaxation Techniques, Lifestyle Guidance, Wellness Consultations, Educational Workshops, Recorded Content, and future products or services introduced by Ashu Yoga.
2.5 Program
Program refers to any structured course offered by Ashu Yoga, including one-to-one, group, short-term, long-term, customized, therapeutic, or specialized yoga programs.
2.6 Session
A Session refers to any scheduled interaction between Ashu Yoga and the Client, whether conducted online or through any other approved platform.
2.7 Digital Content
Digital Content includes all educational materials made available by Ashu Yoga, including but not limited to PDFs, articles, videos, audio recordings, images, graphics, worksheets, yoga sequences, practice manuals, meditation guides, and breathing instructions.
3. Acceptance of These Terms
By using our website or services, you expressly confirm that:
- You have carefully read these Terms & Conditions.
- You understand the rights and responsibilities described herein.
- You voluntarily agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
- You understand that participation in yoga is entirely voluntary.
- You accept responsibility for your own health and well-being during participation.
Electronic acceptance, including clicking an "I Agree" checkbox, submitting an online form, making payment, booking a consultation, or attending a session, shall constitute your legally valid acceptance of these Terms.
4. Modifications to These Terms
Ashu Yoga reserves the right to modify, update, replace, or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Updated versions shall become effective immediately upon publication on our website unless otherwise stated. Your continued use of our services after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. Clients are encouraged to review these Terms periodically.
5. Our Services
Ashu Yoga is a wellness and yoga education organization offering a range of services designed to support physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Services may be delivered online, in person, or through hybrid formats, and may be offered directly by Ashu Yoga or in collaboration with qualified partners.

Participation in yoga therapy services is intended to support overall well-being and is not a substitute for professional medical diagnosis or treatment.
C. Group Yoga Classes
Ashu Yoga may conduct group classes for general wellness, beginners, intermediate practitioners, advanced practitioners, seniors, children (where applicable), families, and community organizations.
D. Corporate Wellness Programs
Ashu Yoga may provide wellness services for businesses, educational institutions, government organizations, and non-profit organizations. Corporate services may include:
- Workplace yoga sessions
- Desk yoga
- Ergonomic movement education
- Stress management workshops
- Mindfulness sessions
- Meditation workshops
- Breathing practices
- Team wellness programs
- Leadership wellness programs
- Employee well-being initiatives

Corporate agreements may be governed by separate service contracts in addition to these Terms & Conditions.
E. Workshops
Ashu Yoga may organize educational workshops in online, offline, or hybrid formats, covering yoga philosophy, yoga anatomy, pranayama, meditation, stress management, lifestyle management, yoga for specific populations, continuing education, professional development, and wellness education. Workshop schedules, speakers, curriculum, certification, fees, and eligibility may vary.
F. Yoga Retreats
Ashu Yoga may organize yoga retreats within India and internationally. Retreats may include daily yoga practice, meditation, pranayama, yoga philosophy sessions, nature walks, wellness activities, cultural experiences, accommodation, meals, transportation arrangements where expressly included, and recreational activities.
Retreat itineraries are subject to change due to weather, local regulations, safety considerations, venue requirements, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Participants are responsible for obtaining valid passports, visas, travel insurance, vaccinations, and any other travel documents required by the destination country or region. Where third-party providers supply accommodation, transport, meals, or activities, their own terms and conditions may also apply.
G. Digital Products
Ashu Yoga may provide online courses, recorded yoga classes, recorded meditation sessions, audio programs, digital manuals, PDF guides, practice journals, educational resources, and downloadable content.
H. Future Services
Ashu Yoga reserves the right to introduce additional wellness services, educational programs, certifications, memberships, teacher training programs, retreats, products, or digital offerings in the future. Unless otherwise stated, such services shall also be governed by these Terms & Conditions.
6. Eligibility
6.1 Minimum Age
You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. Individuals below eighteen years may participate only with the written consent of a parent or legal guardian.
6.2 Legal Capacity
You confirm that you possess the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements under the laws applicable to your jurisdiction.
6.3 Accurate Information
You agree that all information provided during registration, consultation, health assessment, or booking is complete, accurate, truthful, and up to date. Providing false or misleading information may result in suspension or termination of services without refund.
6.4 Right to Refuse Services
Ashu Yoga reserves the right to decline or discontinue services if:
- participation is considered unsafe;
- required medical clearance is not provided;
- the Client behaves abusively or inappropriately;
- false health information has been submitted;
- payment obligations remain outstanding; or
- continued participation poses a risk to the Client, instructor, or others.
Such decisions will be made in good faith with the objective of maintaining safety and professional standards.
7. Health Declaration, Informed Consent & Client Responsibilities
7.1 Health Declaration
Your safety is our highest priority. Before participating in any program or session offered by Ashu Yoga, you are required to provide complete, accurate, and truthful information regarding your current health status and any medical conditions that may affect your participation.
By enrolling in any program, you confirm that the health information you provide is true and complete to the best of your knowledge. You agree to promptly inform Ashu Yoga if your health status changes at any time during your participation.
7.2 Medical History Disclosure
Before commencing a program, you agree to disclose any relevant health information, including but not limited to:
- Heart disease or cardiovascular conditions
- High or low blood pressure
- Diabetes
- Asthma or respiratory disorders
- Neurological disorders
- Epilepsy or seizure disorders
- Arthritis
- Osteoporosis
- Joint replacements
- Recent fractures
- Spinal disorders
- Herniated or slipped discs
- Chronic neck or back pain
- Knee, hip, shoulder, wrist, or ankle injuries
- Recent surgeries
- Pregnancy or postpartum status
- Balance disorders
- Vertigo
- Chronic pain conditions
- Autoimmune disorders
- Cancer or ongoing cancer treatment
- Mental health conditions that may affect participation
- Any other illness, injury, disability, or medical condition that may influence your ability to practice safely.
Failure to disclose relevant medical information may increase the risk of injury and may affect the suitability of certain practices.
7.3 Duty to Update Health Information
You agree to immediately notify Ashu Yoga if, during your program, you experience or are diagnosed with a new medical condition, pregnancy, surgery, hospitalization, significant injury, new medications affecting balance, coordination, blood pressure, or physical activity, or any other health change that may impact your participation.
Ashu Yoga may modify, pause, or discontinue your program until appropriate information or medical clearance is received.
7.4 Medical Clearance
Ashu Yoga may request written approval from your physician or other qualified healthcare professional before you begin or continue participating in a program. Medical clearance may be requested when, in our professional judgment, participation could pose a safety risk due to your disclosed medical history or current condition.
Failure to provide requested medical clearance may result in postponement or cancellation of sessions until appropriate documentation is received.
8. Informed Consent
8.1 Voluntary Participation
Participation in all Ashu Yoga programs is entirely voluntary. You acknowledge that you have chosen to participate of your own free will and understand the nature of the activities involved.
8.2 Understanding the Nature of Yoga
You understand that yoga may include, depending on your personalized program: physical postures (Asana), breath regulation (Pranayama), meditation, relaxation practices, mindfulness exercises, yogic cleansing techniques (where appropriate), lifestyle guidance, stress management techniques, and therapeutic movement and mobility exercises.
Not every practice is suitable for every individual. Your program will be tailored based on the information available to us, but you remain responsible for communicating any discomfort or limitations during practice.
8.3 Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge that participation in yoga, like any form of physical activity, involves inherent risks. These risks may include, but are not limited to:
- Muscle soreness
- Fatigue
- Minor strains
- Sprains
- Joint discomfort
- Falls
- Loss of balance
- Aggravation of existing conditions
- Temporary dizziness during breathing practices
- Temporary emotional responses during relaxation or meditation practices.
You voluntarily assume these inherent risks by participating in our programs.
8.4 Personal Responsibility
You agree that you are solely responsible for listening to your body; practicing within your personal limits; stopping immediately if you experience pain, dizziness, breathlessness, or other unusual symptoms; informing the instructor of any discomfort during or after practice; and seeking appropriate medical advice when necessary.
You understand that pain should never be ignored and that no posture or exercise should be forced.
8.5 No Guarantee of Results
Every individual responds differently to yoga. Ashu Yoga does not guarantee specific results including weight loss, disease recovery, pain relief, flexibility, strength, improved sleep, or any medical outcome. Results depend upon individual effort, consistency, medical condition, lifestyle, and numerous other factors.
9. Client Responsibilities
As a participant in Ashu Yoga programs, you agree to:
- Attend sessions punctually.
- Follow instructions carefully.
- Wear comfortable clothing suitable for movement.
- Practice in a clean, safe, and adequately ventilated environment.
- Ensure sufficient space to move safely without obstacles.
- Use stable internet connectivity for online sessions.
- Maintain respectful communication with the instructor.
- Refrain from practicing under the influence of alcohol, recreational drugs, or any substance that impairs judgment or coordination.
- Inform the instructor immediately if you feel unwell before or during a session.
- Avoid attempting advanced postures without guidance or approval.
- Complete recommended home practices responsibly and within your comfort level.
Failure to comply with these responsibilities may increase the risk of injury and may result in suspension or termination of services where necessary for safety.
10. Emergency Situations
Ashu Yoga provides online instruction and cannot physically intervene during an emergency. By participating in online sessions, you acknowledge and agree that you are responsible for ensuring that you are practicing in a safe environment, and that you should have access to emergency contact information appropriate to your location.
In the event of severe pain, chest pain, loss of consciousness, difficulty breathing, suspected stroke, suspected heart attack, or any other medical emergency, you must stop practicing immediately and seek emergency medical assistance without delay.
Ashu Yoga is not responsible for providing emergency medical services and cannot guarantee immediate assistance during online sessions.
11. Pregnancy Policy
Clients who are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or who become pregnant during a program must inform Ashu Yoga immediately. Participation during pregnancy may require updated health information, clearance from the client's healthcare provider where appropriate, and modification of practices to suit the stage of pregnancy and individual health status.
Certain postures, breathing techniques, and practices may be modified or omitted to prioritize safety. Failure to disclose pregnancy may increase the risk of injury to both the participant and the unborn child.
Ashu Yoga reserves the right to modify, postpone, or discontinue participation if continuing the program is considered unsafe based on the information available.
12. Bookings, Payments, Cancellations & Refunds
12.1 Program Enrolment
Enrolment in any Ashu Yoga program is confirmed only after submission of the required registration or health assessment form; acceptance of these Terms & Conditions; completion of any required consultation, where applicable; and receipt of the applicable program fee or any other payment arrangement expressly agreed to by Ashu Yoga in writing.
Ashu Yoga reserves the right to decline or postpone enrolment where participation is considered unsuitable or unsafe.
12.2 Program Fees
Program fees are displayed on our website or communicated directly to the Client before enrolment. Unless otherwise stated, all prices are quoted in the applicable currency communicated at the time of purchase, prices are subject to change without prior notice, and price changes shall not affect programs that have already been confirmed and paid for.
12.3 Accepted Payment Methods
Payments may be accepted through one or more approved payment methods, including Bank Transfer, UPI, Credit Card, Debit Card, Razorpay, international payment gateways approved by Ashu Yoga, and any other payment method made available from time to time.
Clients are responsible for any bank charges, foreign exchange fees, or payment gateway charges imposed by their financial institution unless otherwise agreed.
12.4 Payment Due Date
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, full payment is required before the commencement of the program. No session is guaranteed until payment has been successfully received and confirmed. Outstanding balances may result in postponement or suspension of scheduled sessions.
12.5 International Payments
Clients residing outside India are responsible for complying with the financial, tax, currency exchange, and payment regulations applicable in their own country. Ashu Yoga is not responsible for delays caused by international banking systems, foreign exchange processing, payment gateway verification, or intermediary financial institutions.
12.6 Taxes
Where applicable, taxes required under the laws of India shall be added to the program fee. International clients may also be responsible for taxes, duties, or other charges imposed by their own country.
13. Scheduling of Sessions
Sessions shall be scheduled by mutual agreement between Ashu Yoga and the Client. Session timings are subject to instructor availability, time zone differences, public holidays, planned leave, and technical circumstances beyond reasonable control. Ashu Yoga will make reasonable efforts to accommodate preferred timings but cannot guarantee availability of any particular schedule.
14. Rescheduling Policy
Clients who are unable to attend a scheduled session should notify Ashu Yoga as early as reasonably possible. Where sufficient notice is provided, Ashu Yoga will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the session, subject to instructor availability. Rescheduling requests are not guaranteed and may be declined where suitable alternative times are unavailable. Repeated requests to reschedule may affect continuation of the agreed schedule.
15. Late Arrival Policy
Clients are expected to join sessions at the agreed start time. If a Client joins late, the session will normally conclude at the originally scheduled end time and additional time cannot be guaranteed. Repeated late arrivals may reduce the effectiveness of the program.
Where an instructor is delayed due to unforeseen circumstances, reasonable efforts will be made to provide the full duration of the session or arrange an alternative solution.
16. Missed Sessions
A session shall generally be considered missed if the Client does not join the session within a reasonable time after the scheduled start; the Client does not respond to communication attempts at the scheduled time; or the Client fails to attend without prior notice. Missed sessions may not be eligible for rescheduling unless otherwise agreed by Ashu Yoga.
17. Client Cancellations
Clients may request cancellation of individual sessions or an entire program. Where a cancellation request is received before the commencement of a program, Ashu Yoga will review the request in accordance with the Refund & Cancellation Policy. Once a personalized program has commenced, cancellation requests will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
18. Instructor Cancellations
Ashu Yoga reserves the right to postpone or reschedule a session due to circumstances including but not limited to illness, family emergency, technical failure, internet outage, natural disaster, government restrictions, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control. Where reasonably possible, advance notice will be provided and an alternative session will be offered.
19. Refund Policy
Refunds are governed by the separate Refund & Cancellation Policy published on this website. Unless otherwise stated in that policy: refund requests must be submitted in writing; each request will be reviewed individually; approved refunds will normally be processed using the original payment method where practicable; and administrative charges, payment gateway fees, currency conversion losses, taxes, or other non-recoverable costs may be deducted where permitted by law and disclosed in the applicable policy.
20. Program Validity
Each program is valid only for the period communicated at the time of enrolment. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, unused sessions expire at the end of the program validity period, expired sessions are not automatically carried forward, and extensions may be granted only in exceptional circumstances at the sole discretion of Ashu Yoga.
21. Membership Renewal
Clients who wish to continue their program after its completion should complete the renewal process before the expiry of the current program. Renewal is subject to availability of suitable session timings; completion of any updated health assessment requested by Ashu Yoga; and payment of the applicable renewal fee. Ashu Yoga does not guarantee that the same schedule or instructor availability can be maintained if renewal is delayed.
22. Promotional Offers
From time to time, Ashu Yoga may offer promotional pricing, discounts, referral incentives, or special packages. Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotional offers cannot be combined, promotional pricing has no cash value, and offers may be modified, withdrawn, or discontinued without prior notice. Discounts already applied to confirmed purchases will not be withdrawn retrospectively.
23. Gift Vouchers (If Offered)
Where Ashu Yoga offers gift vouchers, they may only be redeemed in accordance with the terms specified at the time of issue. Gift vouchers are non-refundable unless required by applicable law. Lost, stolen, or expired vouchers may not be replaced. Gift vouchers may not be redeemed for cash unless required by law.
24. Confidentiality
Ashu Yoga respects the privacy and confidentiality of every Client. Any personal, health-related, or program-specific information shared during consultations, assessments, communications, or yoga sessions will be treated as confidential and handled with reasonable care.
Confidential information may include, but is not limited to: personal identification details; contact information; health history; medical reports voluntarily provided by the Client; lifestyle information; consultation notes; program recommendations; session feedback; and progress records.
Ashu Yoga will not intentionally disclose confidential information to third parties except with the Client's consent; where required by applicable law, court order, or lawful government request; or where disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the life, health, safety, or legal rights of the Client, Ashu Yoga, or another person.
Nothing in these Terms limits any legal rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
25. Privacy
Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy and consent to the collection, use, storage, and processing of your personal information as described therein.
Where applicable, Ashu Yoga will take reasonable measures to safeguard personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
26. Intellectual Property Rights
Unless otherwise stated, all intellectual property associated with Ashu Yoga is owned by or licensed to Ashu Yoga. This includes, without limitation: website design; logos; brand name; trade names; course structures; teaching methods (to the extent protected by law); yoga sequences; articles; blog posts; PDF manuals; e-books; worksheets; audio recordings; video recordings; graphics; photographs; illustrations; course notes; digital downloads; and educational resources.
These materials are protected under applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. No ownership rights are transferred to Clients through participation in any program.
27. Permitted Use of Materials
Clients are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use educational materials provided by Ashu Yoga solely for their own personal, non-commercial learning.
Clients may not copy, reproduce, modify, translate, publish, upload, distribute, sell, sublicense, commercially exploit, or create derivative works from any Ashu Yoga content without prior written permission, except where permitted by applicable law.
28. Recording Policy
To protect the privacy of all participants and the intellectual property of Ashu Yoga: Clients must not record audio or video of live sessions without prior written permission; Clients must not take screenshots or photographs of online sessions for public distribution without consent; any recording made with permission may be used only for the purpose expressly agreed; and Ashu Yoga may record selected sessions only after informing the Client and obtaining any consent required by applicable law.
29. Testimonials & Reviews
Ashu Yoga values honest feedback from Clients. If you voluntarily or by request submit a testimonial, review, photograph, video, or other feedback, you grant Ashu Yoga a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, edit for length or clarity (without changing the substance), and publish that content for educational or promotional purposes.
Where required by law or where requested by the Client, Ashu Yoga will seek additional consent before publishing identifiable health-related information. Clients may request removal of a testimonial in appropriate circumstances, and such requests will be considered in good faith, subject to legal or contractual obligations.
30. Website Use
When using this website, you agree not to:
- violate any applicable law;
- upload malicious software or harmful code;
- interfere with website functionality;
- attempt unauthorized access to servers, databases, or accounts;
- impersonate another individual or organization;
- transmit false, misleading, defamatory, or unlawful content;
- use automated tools to scrape or harvest website content without authorization.
Ashu Yoga reserves the right to suspend or restrict access where misuse is reasonably suspected.
31. Third-Party Services
Our website and services may incorporate or link to third-party platforms and providers, including payment gateways, communication tools, scheduling services, video conferencing platforms, analytics providers, or social media platforms. Ashu Yoga is not responsible for the availability, security, content, terms, privacy practices, or performance of third-party services. Clients should review the applicable terms and privacy policies of those providers before using them.
32. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ashu Yoga provides its website, educational materials, and services on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive to provide accurate and high-quality information, we do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free; that all content will always be complete, accurate, or up to date; that services will be available at all times; or that participation will produce any particular health, therapeutic, or fitness outcome.
Nothing in this clause excludes warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.
33. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ashu Yoga shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to the use of our website or services. This includes, without limitation: loss of income; loss of profits; business interruption; loss of data; reputational harm; or other indirect losses, except where liability cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for matters that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
34. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ashu Yoga, its owner, instructors, employees, contractors, and authorized representatives from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and reasonable legal expenses arising from your breach of these Terms; your misuse of the website or services; your violation of applicable law; or your infringement of the rights of another person, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
35. Force Majeure
Ashu Yoga shall not be responsible for delays or failure to perform obligations caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, floods, earthquakes, fires, pandemics, epidemics, war, civil unrest, government restrictions, power failures, internet outages, cyberattacks, labour disputes, or failures of third-party service providers. Where reasonably possible, affected sessions will be rescheduled.
36. Termination of Services
Ashu Yoga reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to its services where a Client materially breaches these Terms; provides false or misleading information; engages in abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or unlawful behaviour; repeatedly fails to comply with reasonable safety instructions; or otherwise jeopardizes the safety, well-being, or rights of others. Termination shall not affect any rights or obligations that accrued before termination.
37. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India. The parties agree to make reasonable efforts to resolve any dispute through good-faith discussions before commencing legal proceedings. If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Nashik, Maharashtra, India, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
38. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect to the extent permitted by law.
39. Entire Agreement
These Terms & Conditions, together with any documents expressly incorporated by reference (including the Privacy Policy, Medical Disclaimer, and Refund & Cancellation Policy), constitute the entire agreement between Ashu Yoga and the Client regarding the use of the website and services.
